102-year-old goes skydiving to tick the final thing off her bucket list

A 102-year-old WWII veteran wanted to experience the thrill of one last item remaining on her bucket list- Skydiving! In a life that has already been pretty eventful, this veteran pursued the dream inspired by President George Bush, who also went skydiving at the ages of 75, 80, 85 and 90. Skydive Baltimore celebrated this milestone and stated on their social media that they were delighted to help this veteran complete an adventurous dream!

Accompanied by his father, they woke up at 4.30am each day, walked 12 miles, fought wild dogs, slept under the stars, and finally reached the beaming granny in London. Cox said the hug he shared with his granny was long, warm, and worth every mile!

Cardiff University introduces unique way to get students to socialize under lockdown

Singapore plans massive reforestation to reverse the impact of mangrove losses

A 4-year old is preparing 200 care packages for Christmas

This heartbreaking dream spurred her into action, wherein she aims to prepare Christmas care packages for 200 kids. Each box has a present, coloring pencils, scarf, and gloves to ensure the kids can keep warm. She is preparing these packages with the help of donations and also through funds raised from sales of handmade decorations.

Local Tanzanian miner digs 3rd rare gemstone and upscales his fortunes

A local Tanzanian miner, who became an overnight millionaire in June for unearthing two tanzanite gemstones has upscaled his fortune after finding the third large gemstone on Aug 3. Saniniu Laizer dug a 6.3kg gemstone and collected a $2million cheque this time. He had been awarded $3.4 million earlier for the two rare big sized purple gemstones that he had found in the northern region of East Africa.
